Kyle Wingfield, partner in the Williams Mullen Tax Section, was interviewed by NBC 12 on the efforts surrounding the Senate Bill 294 in relation to the recent impact of the Richmond meals tax on local restaurants. 

 

“We want to add language into Virginia that would authorize localities to refund money to folks like you all when it’s in the best interest of the locality. And, you know, if there’s any confusion about the localities about whether or not they have that authorization to do it, we want to be sure that they understand in very clear terms that they do,” said Wingfield.
