He counsels clients throughout the life cycle of a real estate transaction, from contract drafting and negotiation to due diligence and closing. He has experience assisting clients with 1031 like-kind exchanges, and he has advised clients on environment-related real estate matters such as compliance with the Chesapeake Bay Preservation Act and Virginia Marine Resources Commission regulations.

Tyler also has experience helping clients navigate issues with breaches of contract, subcontractor payments, property boundary lines, community associations and lease warranties. He serves as president on the executive committee of CBDX, the young professionals division of the Central Business District Association (CBDA) of Virginia Beach. He was named one of CoVa BIZ's 2019 Millennials on the Move and named to Inside Business' Top 40 Under 40.

He earned his Juris Doctor degree from William & Mary, and his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Dickinson College, where he played football and served as captain of the baseball team.
