Pat Tomlinson focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions and other complex business transactions, including leveraged buyouts, carve-out transactions, joint ventures, controlling and minority investments and other strategic transactions, as well as general corporate matters. He has significant experience representing private equity firms, as well as public and private companies in domestic and cross-border transactions across a broad range of industries.

Pat received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. During law school, Pat served on the editorial board of the Virginia Law Review and worked with start-up companies as part of the University of Virginia School of Law Transactional Law Clinic. Pat received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia.
