Lauren focuses her practice on both health care and general corporate matters. She represents hospital systems, long-term care providers, and physician groups in transactional, corporate, and regulatory matters relating to licensure, reimbursement, Certificate of Public Need (COPN) and compliance.
Lauren focuses her practice on both health care and general corporate matters. She represents hospital systems, long-term care providers, and physician groups in transactional, corporate, and regulatory matters relating to licensure, reimbursement, Certificate of Public Need (COPN) and compliance.
She earned her Juris Doctor from William & Mary Law School, where she served as a staff member of the William & Mary Business Law Review. During law school, she also participated in the Black Law Students Association, the Women’s Law Society, and the Health Law and Policy Society.
While completing her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Virginia, Lauren began working for a criminal defense attorney in Richmond. She was a legal assistant and office manager and helped strategize during felony jury trials, bench trials and settlement negotiations.
